The role of artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare

At the Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (TIPS)’s Scientific Meeting held online on February 12, 2022, the topic of "The role of artificial intelligence in medicine and healthcare" was presented by Dr. M. Hasanzad, Personalized Medicine Research Center, Endocrinology and Metabolism Clinical Sciences Institute, TUMS. In this meeting, several applications of artificial intelligence for health services and a stream of research were presented. Then, a perspective on the benefits, future opportunities and risks of established artificial intelligence applications in clinical practice on physicians, healthcare institutions, medical education and bioethics were criticized.
